Code of Conduct
Smritex is a professional forum built on trust, respect, and thoughtful exchange. This Code of Conduct exists to protect the quality of discussions and ensure that all participants can engage openly and professionally.
1 Professional Respect
All participants are expected to engage with courtesy, professionalism, and respect for differing perspectives. Disagreement is welcome; disrespect is not.
Personal attacks, dismissive language, or behavior that undermines constructive dialogue are not acceptable.
2 Good-Faith Participation
Smritex sessions are discussion-led and rely on thoughtful participation. Attendees are expected to engage in good faith, listen carefully, and contribute meaningfully where appropriate.
Passive attendance is acceptable. Disruptive behavior or attempts to dominate discussion are not.
3 No Promotion or Solicitation
Smritex is a sales-free environment. Participants may not promote products, services, organizations, or personal offerings during sessions.
Solicitation, lead generation, recruitment, or marketing activity of any kind is not permitted.
4 Confidentiality and Attribution
Discussions may include sensitive organizational experiences. Participants are expected to respect confidentiality and avoid attributing comments to individuals or organizations outside the session without explicit permission.
Smritex encourages open discussion by maintaining a space where experiences can be shared without fear of misuse or misrepresentation.
5 Respect for Speakers
Speakers are invited for their experience and judgment. Participants should engage respectfully, avoid confrontational behavior, and recognize that speakers are contributing in good faith.
Challenging questions are welcome. Hostile or adversarial behavior is not.
6 Recording and Redistribution
Participants may not record, capture, or redistribute session content, including audio, video, chat, or written materials, without prior written permission from Smritex.
7 Moderation and Enforcement
Smritex reserves the right to moderate discussions to maintain a respectful and focused environment. This may include guiding conversation, limiting participation, or removing individuals who violate this Code of Conduct.
Serious or repeated violations may result in removal from a session without refund and, where necessary, exclusion from future participation.
8 Responsibility and Accountability
Participation in Smritex sessions implies acceptance of this Code of Conduct. Each participant is responsible for their own behavior and contributions.
9 Updates to This Code
This Code of Conduct may be updated periodically to reflect changes in format, audience, or operational needs. The current version will always be available on this page.
