Gautam Pendharkar has led Knowledge Management as a strategic business practice, helping organisations turn knowledge into a measurable advantage. His experience spans KM process, solutioning, strategy, governance, organisational learning, content and documentation, digital transformation, AI-enabled knowledge systems and enterprise-wide adoption. He has worked in KM roles at Patni Computer Systems, IGATE and Capgemini, working across business and technology teams to build practical KM capabilities that improve how people create, find, share and apply knowledge.

His approach is outcome-focused: KM should not become another repository or process for employees to maintain. He focuses on the people aspect alongside designing sustainable operating models, collaborating with teams, processes, content and technology, and using AI and automation where they genuinely improve knowledge access, productivity, decision-making and organisational resilience.
